Watch mode

Not watching.

Motion is compared on this device every ~10 s; only when something moves is one frame pair sent to the vision model (max 1 per feed per minute). Events and feed outages are logged here (last 300, this browser only). Keep this tab open and the laptop plugged in; the screen is kept awake while watching.

If the sender is in the same browser as the console, the browser may switch its camera off when the mic is used here; run the sender in a different browser or on the iPad.

Say “show the cameras”, “show laptop cam”, “show iPad cam” or “hide the cameras”. Ask “what do you see on the laptop cam” and I will try to read one frame from the feed. The view IDs are editable under Settings, Cameras.

Neural voice = Google Gemini TTS (a British-sounding preset; not the film actor's voice, which is not available). The browser voice is the offline fallback: it auto-picks the best British male voice installed. On Mac/iPad: Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English (UK) → download an Enhanced/Premium "Daniel".

Read-only Gmail and Calendar so I can answer "what's on my calendar today" and "any new emails". Sign-in happens on Google's own page; the console never sees your password, cannot send or create anything, and keeps the access token in this tab only (gone when it closes). The OAuth client ID is entered under Advanced (see GOOGLE_SETUP.md).

If the VDO.Ninja sender page is open in the same browser as this console, Safari or Chrome may switch the sender’s camera off when this console turns on the microphone (browsers can pause a camera when another tab opens the mic). Best: run the VDO.Ninja sender in a different browser (or on the iPad) from the console. This console only ever opens the microphone (audio only, one shared stream) and never touches other tabs’ cameras.
